Metro Police To Use Rumbler To Get People’s Attention
Many of us when we drive are too busy talking on our phones, blaring the music, yelling at our kids, or just thinking too loudly that we never hear the sirens of a cop until he whizzes by us. Then you are glad that he wasn’t after you the whole time. The Metropolitan police are tired of this are finding ways of fixing this problem.
In order to do this they created the ultimate siren called the Rumbler. The Rumbler will emit low frequency vibrations through the use of a woofer that will be attached to the po;lice officer’s cruiser. This means that at 200 feet away your car will begin to shake – which will make you look around and take notice.
Because the Rumbler is going to startle quite a few people (if not everyone) it is set to automatically stop after 10 seconds.
