Microsoft Warns Users Of Safari Browser
Microsoft told clients that they need to be careful when using the Apple Safari web browser because they are sure to face certain dangerous and unwanted system intrusions. The flaw being called the Safari Bug will allow attackers to run their unauthorized software on a victim’s computer and will fill the computer with dangerous files that will be executed at will. These files will appear be normal to everyday users.
The flaw can lead to the complications presented earlier only combined with an unresolved bug in Internet Explorer. The IE bug has been reported to Microsoft more than a year ago and the connection with Apple’s flaw was discovered just last week.
The IE bugs as well as the Safari bug “are moderate vulnerabilities that, combined, produce a critical flaw, which allows remote code execution,” stated the security researcher Aviv Raff in an interview.
Microsoft has issued a full security advisory to help users to understand the vulnerability of the system and to warn all Windows users running the Safari browser.
